Wool + needles + lots of stabbing = penguins, bunnies, frogs, cats and other little creatures.
Generously donated wool, scented with lanolin and lavender. Three bags full!
We had a grand time meeting fellow artists and art appreciators at Blue Door’s open studio. Here’s a selection of greeting cards, leather work and hand-made nests made by TICG.
Scrabble pieces, watch parts, vintage fishing lures, radio resistors, buttons and more… Tongue in Chic Gallery is getting inspired by the eclectic atmosphere and talented artists of Blue Door Beads on Piedmont Avenue in Oakland. The studio hosts a rotating cast of local artists, and Bryce and Jay are proud to be their newest artists-in-residence! We’ll be up to our usual crafty antics with pictures to prove it. Stay tuned and, if you’re in the area, stop by the studio to say hello 🙂
This photo slideshow is a compilation of images from Tongue in Chic Gallery’s parties in Chicago, Cleveland, Oakland and Bishkek.
